This spring, X was honored to be drafted by the North All-Star team as 11U’s Middle Linebacker and compete in the All-Star tournament in Myrtle Beach.
G.I.C. Try-Outs in Pittsburgh, PA
X’s journey to get in this position has been filled with tons of adversity and hard work. Day by day, season and off-season training to be the best in his spot. The tryouts went well, but he was unsure if he’d be selected. Draft night he had no expectations, but tuned in with hope and anticipation. Once he heard his name called, he felt more than accomplished!
After being drafted he knew it meant it was time to turn up his work ethic. He focused on his role, strength, and reading offenses. Practice with SCML provided him the physical challenges he needed to improve his pass rushing abilities.
Co-Hosting G.I.C. Media with @TunchiDaGoat
X connected with TunchiDaGoat of G.I.C. Media to co-host the event. Tunchi connected him with the Primetime Athletes of G.I.C. All Star Weekend featuring athletes from each region; North, South, East, West, Southeast, and East Gold.

Media Day – Thursday April 9th, 2026
The event kicked off immediately on Thrusday morning during team check-ins. X hosted interviews from 7am-3pm! Amping up athletes of all ages, from all over the country!
Unfortunately, his team was one of the later squads to check-in which made them skip media day for practice. Still, X got to lead his team through the doors, and snag a picture with Coach Ratcliff real quickly.
G.I.C. Primetime Athlete Interviews
Primetime Athletes are quite possibly the next generation’s big stars! X caught up with each athlete to learn about their time in Myrtle Beach, their favorite G.I.C. moments, and their best football memories.
Families of Primetime Athletes can Contact Us for their personal copies, including Mom/Dad interviews.
Lead The North With Us!
X’s big goal is to find the talent we need to win it all next year – The North Diamond Squad! He’s on a mission to recruit top-level athletes to represent the North with us.
FOOTBALL!!
X-Caliber had a great weekend connecting with talented, respectful athletes from all over the nation. X signed up to play ball, though! 11U North showed up with only 14 guys. Providing an immediate struggle for the coaches and players missing majority of their offense.
The first game was tough as 11U North faced an established team from the East. They lost 52-0 to the East All Stars. However, the North started finding their chemistry in the second half.
The kids looked defeated after taking such a big loss. What was noticed was that none of them were going to quit. They all knew the challenge would be difficult to overcome. But like true leaders, each man showed up the next day to do their job!
The kids knew if they wanted to compete they had to play lockdown defense, and that’s what they did! The defense stopped the Southeast from scoring in the first half. X was uncontainable, shedding through the line and re-routing the running back the whole game.
The North still had a major problem, the kids they were missing included 4 linemen, their starting QB and WR. The offense had trouble moving the ball, except a few plays and one great catch by Brandon Stong, Jr.
After 2 and 1/2 quarters of playtime the North started wearing down, which led to two late touchdowns in the 4th quarter, giving the Southeast a victory of 12-0.
The G.I.C. X-pierence
While X didn’t win any football games he left with much more confidence.
He said he was unsure if he’d get drafted. That made him work extra hard to prove himself on a greater stage. After playing in the G.I.C. he realized he belongs playing at this level and pace.
His plans now are to recruit athletes and create his own squad for next year’s G.I.C. Event.. Which ironically is right nextdoor at Hershey Park!
