Create A Youth Athlete Shop
Youth Athletes can create and sell their own merchandise on X-CaliberSports.com. To be qualified you must be a youth athlete, and have your parents permission. You’ll need an action (profile) photo and an active email account. Once verified you will need a PayPal account to receive your earnings.
Custom Merchandise
Athletes can design and sell their own merchandise through our merchandise customizer, found on select products. Please allow 10-15 business days for production and delivery of custom products.
Uploading Your Own Products
You can also add your own products. Be sure to check the inventory settings and select the amount of products you have in stock. Only sell products you have in stock.
Required Settings
Product Name – Make it short. Long titles can get cutoff.
Product Description – Tell us what your product is and why people should buy it! What does it represent or help you with?
Image – Rename your image to match the Product Name if you want it to rank in search engines better.
Inventory – Important if you’re selling products you already have in stock. Even if it’s just one item, or a used item, place 1 in this box. Custom items do not have their inventory managed since they are printed when they are purchased.
Shipping: Weight – Weight and dimensions are important to accurately calculate the shipping cost. If left blank the item will be charged as a large flat rate box. Which might be too expensive for some products.
Shipping: Dimensions – Width, Height, Depth are important to accurately calculate the shipping cost. If any of these fields are left blank the item will be charged as a large flat rate box. Which might be too expensive for some products.
Tracking (Order) – Add tracking information to the product. We verify completion of orders through the tracking number.
Rules
We do not allow vulgarity, bigotry, hatred or sexual innuendos. We do will not approve any products that feature or insinuate any of these things. Stores may get shutdown for violating these rules.
Product Approval
Before the item is publish it will need approved by our team. This is to make sure the product stays within the boundaries of our terms and conditions. For non-customized products we will need to verify the item exists and is “in stock”. We cannot sell items that don’t exist or are no longer “for sale.” Therefore, used items will have an expiration date of 3 months.
Responsibility
The shop owner, athlete’s family, is responsible and liable for all non-custom or X-Caliber branded products. It is important you maintain your listings if you sell your products outside of this site. Athlete’s commission cannot be paid until after the item is successfully delivered. Make sure you provide a tracking number to the order as soon as you get one.
Payment Percentages
X-Caliber’s product markups include a 50% profit commission for the athlete’s, X-Caliber receives 10% of the sale, plus the cost of creating custom or print-on-demand products.
I.E. Custom Shirt Sale = $20; Cost to Make Shirt = $8; X-Caliber’s 10% Cut = $2; Athletes Receive $10 per shirt (numbers are percentage based).
Athletes can upload their own products and receive 90% of the sale! This is because we do not need to produce the items.
Shipping costs are not included in the sale or commission. X-Caliber will provide shipping labels for your orders. All orders must be shipped within 3 weeks. Shops that do not oblige are subject to be removed from our marketplace.
When Do I Get Paid?
Payments are sent out the first of every month or when requested by the athlete. The athlete is eligible to receive their full amount owed from all orders have been fulfilled, or delivered.
Merchandise being created by X-Caliber and our production partners is shipped through X-Caliber. These items do not need to be delivered before the athlete’s eligible to receive their full amount owed.
Shipping Products
In order for you to receive payment for your sales, the order will need to be shipped and delivered. X-CaliberSports will provide the shipping label for the entered product dimensions. Shop owners will be responsible for any additional costs that could occur when providing faulty shipping dimensions and weight.
How To Get Paid
You will need to connect a PayPal account to your shop settings. We will do monthly payouts on the first of every month.
Athletes can request early payouts of the money they are owed. Allowing them to receive payments as soon as their orders are delivered.
Violating Agreement
We want to make this a great place for youth athletes for years to come! We have many big plans. This means we have to follow our rules.
Stores, sellers and vendor accounts will be terminated for violating rules such as:
Not Shipping Merchandise
Uploading Non-Existent Products
Selling Faulty or Broken Prosucts
Uploading derogatory, vulgar or sexually explicit products
Harassing other users or shop owners
